How can I support my baby’s development every day?
Your attention is a good place to start: talk to your baby, respond to their sounds and give them time to discover things for themselves. Choose games that follow their interests and take breaks when they get tired or restless. There’s no need for a fixed development program.

The app is for parents with children from 2 months to 4 years. The play ideas on this website are a first place to start. Ages are always a guide: what matters is what interests your child and what they can safely do right now.
Do we need special toys?
For many play ideas, your hands, your voices or simple everyday objects are enough. Some activities need materials. Always choose intact, age-appropriate items without small parts that could be swallowed.
Should my baby watch the videos?
The video guides are for you as the adult playing alongside your child. Watch an idea, put your phone aside and try it together.
Is the Playtime app free?
You can download Playtime for free on the App Store. Playtime Premium is available as an in-app purchase for access to the full activity library. You’ll find the current offers and prices in the app.

What are Playtime activities based on?
When developing the activities, we drew on recommendations from American pediatricians. Practical experience in kindergarten education also informed their design. Read more about our approach on the “About Playtime” page.
